AmeraDeck 10-Year Homeowner Limited Warranty
AmeraDeck
gives homeowners long-term assurance by offering a 10-Year Homeowner
Limited Warranty. This warranty may be transferred one (1) time, within
the five (5) year period beginning from the date of original purchase
by the Purchaser, to a subsequent buyer of the property upon which
the AmeraDeck products were originally installed. If you’ve

AmeraDeck
Limited 10-Year Product Warranty
AMERADECK carries a warranty against manufacturing defects, termites,
insects, rot, fungal decay, excessive swelling, or splintering for
a period of ten (10) years from the homeowner’s purchase date
subject to the following conditions and exceptions:

This Limited Warranty is exclusive and solely subject to the limitation
of AMERADECK replacement material. This Warranty and its limitations
are extended only to the original homeowner and are not transferable.
Each homeowner is responsible for the determination of effectiveness,
suitability, and safety of their AmeraDeck. AMERADECK does not warrant
any other products or components used in the application of AmeraDeck
nor the labor or installation of AmeraDeck.
AmeraDeck
will take on the natural look of wood it is replacing and some fading
will occur due to the use of natural fibers. Therefore AmeraDeck does
not warranty color consistency or against fading.
This
Warranty also does not cover workmanship, settlement, or structure
failure, improper care or failure to provide reasonable and necessary
repair, mildew, exposure to harmful chemicals, normal wear and tear,
cosmetic defects, changes or damages due to abuse, negligence, excessive
load, impact of foreign objects, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, fires,
or acts of God.
Failure
to adhere to and follow local building codes and generally accepted
building practices, as well as the Installation Instructions for AmeraDeck,
will automatically void the warranty.
AMERADECK
shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary
or other damages of kind whatever, whether any claim is based upon
theories of contract, warranty, negligence, tort, strict liability
or otherwise. Also, AMERADECK shall not be liable for any representation
in oral statements, labor, installation, reinstallation, freight,
taxes and/or any other seen or unforeseen costs.
This
Warranty is exclusive and in lieu of any and all other applicable
warranties, express or implied, including without limitation, any
implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Some states do not permit limitations on the duration of implied warranties
or exclusion of, or limitation of, incidental or consequential damages.
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have
other rights, which vary from state to state.
In
order to make a claim under the Warranty, the Homeowner must provide
proof of purchase and identify the claim in writing with supporting
photographs and mail to:

AMERADECK
will have the claimed AmeraDeck material inspected and deemed acceptable
or unacceptable accordingly. If the AmeraDeck material is deemed unacceptable
and all the aforementioned criteria above have been successfully met
and identified, AMERADECK will provide replacement material and make
it readily available for pick-up at an authorized AmeraDeck distribution
yard.
